Whatever happens tomorrow, we've had today (a movie review)

It’s not how we look up for tomorrow to come but suddenly it’s about today’s existence. We should value what we have today because it might not end up the same as tomorrow.

Well this is about the movie “One Day” a story about Emma (Anne Hathaway) and Dexter (Jim Sturgess) who just have a one night slept together after their college graduation. They have shown on the same date its July 15th to see where they are in their lives. They’re together and not sometimes. It’s about a love story a cute and romantic type somehow uhmm not as a typical Filipino one. It’s uhmm I rated it as complicated its because they are not directly confessing their feelings though it’s very visible. They remain friends despite of what their life brings them. Dexter got married and Emma meets guys that she practically doesn’t love because she was stuck on her feelings for Dexter. Dexter is somewhat a guy next door, the chick-boy one. He meets many girls, get married and ended up divorced. He finds Emma again and this time they fall in love with each other and finally confessed their feelings. They lived together and also want a child, children perhaps but unfortunately Emma is dead through an accident. She was swiped by a truck on the way to their date riding in her bicycle (this was the saddest part of the movie :C ) It was then Dexter’s time to just reminisced the past and thinking what Emma did said “Whatever happens tomorrow, we’ve had today”. If time will just roll back, but it’s too late anymore. It ended up losing someone he love and gets screwed up himself.
As lesson for this, we should I think live what’s today brings us. Enough thinking for tomorrow because it hasn’t come yet. J
I hate a movie that is not happily ever after. L
